I love the feel of dense medieval cities so I wanted to make something that felt epic and exciting. I focused on the composition to lead the eye to the far-distant castle and emphasize the scale of the city. I kept the modelling pretty basic and used lighting to add visual interest to the image and continue guiding the eye to the focal point.
