Practice project for 3D modelling and texturing with guidance from Emiel Sleegers.
Starting with an existing concept, I blocked out the design in Blender for the overall shape and proportions, created the high poly model, refined the details, and then made a low poly model.
Then I brought the models to Marmoset for baking and created a scene for the render. I brought the low poly into Substance Painter to create the textures and normal details, and finally brought the high-quality textures into Marmoset again for the final presentation.
I really enjoyed the process and incorporating Substance Painter and Marmoset into my workflow and look forward to pushing them farther next time.
